THE SOUND OF THE UNDERGROUND

HOW IT STARTED

Forged in Antwerp’s underground, this epic location already hosted Gabber raves before ID&T officially named it Club Hardcore on 11 April 1997.

With its church-like architecture, many came to know it as the Temple of Hardcore: a legendary place that became a spiritual gathering ground for a generation raised on pure bass.

WHAT HAPPENED NEXT

In the new millennium Club Hardcore faced a turning point when the place that witnessed its rise was ripped from our grasp, but beyond its original walls Club Hardcore transformed into a movement without compromise.

A fascinating evolution unfolded spanning the glory days of Early Hardcore driven by iconic TR-909 kicks, to the captivating melodies, dark industrial sounds and relentless energy that would hypnotise dance floors far beyond its origins.

As the community grew, so did the raves, drawing crowds of 5000 Gabbers bound by the same undying love for Hardcore. Until in 2006 the lights went out one final time, leaving behind a legacy that would never truly fade.
